Surrounded by the beautiful fall scenery of Muskoka, the little town of Bala comes alive for a festive weekend filled with shopping, entertainment and, of course, cranberries!

Recognized as one of Ontario’s Top 100 Festivals, the Bala Cranberry Festival is a wonderful way to spend a crisp autumn day. Wander through the festival at your own pace and browse a huge variety of vendors offering handcrafted goods, gifts, clothing, specialty foods and other unique finds. Enjoy live music and entertainment throughout the day, soak up the lively small-town atmosphere, and be sure to sample some of the many delicious cranberry-inspired treats along the way.

With colourful autumn scenery, plenty of shopping, tasty treats and a fun festival atmosphere, it’s easy to see why visitors return to Bala year after year.

On our journey home, we'll make a convenient stop at Tanger Outlets Cookstown. Stretch your legs, take advantage of the facilities, grab a bite at the food court—or squeeze in a little bargain hunting at the outlet stores before we continue back to the Toronto area.
