Join us on a delightful bus tour from the Toronto area to the scenic Beaver Valley in Grey County just a two-hour drive northwest of Toronto. 

Our first stop is an Icelandic Sheep Farm, where you'll discover the fascinating history and unique traits of these ancient animals. With roots tracing back to Viking settlers, Icelandic sheep are famed for their thick, dual-layered wool and majestic, spiraling horns. You'll start with a guided farm tour, spend time with the sheep, and participate in a felted soap workshop, with all materials provided. Plus, you get to take your handmade creation home! Enjoy a boxed lunch in the farm's covered picnic area and browse for souvenirs in the farm store.

Next, we'll visit a farm specializing in rare, edible perennial plants. You'll embark on a tour and tasting experience, sampling delicious perennial vegetables and salad greens like sweet fennel, Turkish rocket, and sweet cicely. For those interested in forest gardening, suitable even for urban environments, knowledgeable staff will be available to answer your questions. This tour offers a perfect blend of education, hands-on activities, and delightful culinary experiences in the heart of Ontario's countryside.

​We will be stopping for a short break on the way to and back from Beaver Valley.
