This is an active hiking tour intended for physically fit adults. Participants will be hiking on moderate and difficult trails throughout the tour, often on uneven ground with exposed roots, stones, rocks, stairs, slopes, and other natural obstacles.

Participants require good mobility, stamina and balance. This tour is not suitable for individuals using mobility aids, or with balance concerns or medical conditions that may restrict their ability to safely participate in hiking on challenging terrain. Guests should only book if they are confident in their ability to participate in six days of outdoor hiking.

From the rugged shores of Lake Superior to cascading waterfalls, ancient forests, dramatic cliffs, and crystal-clear inland lakes, this journey showcases some of Ontario's most spectacular and diverse natural landscapes.

Travel north through the heart of the Canadian Shield as we explore the scenic trails of French River Provincial Park before continuing west to the magnificent Lake Superior coastline. Hike among towering cliffs, pristine beaches, and endless wilderness at Lake Superior Provincial Park and Neys Provincial Park, where some of Canada's most iconic landscapes await around every bend.

Thunder Bay serves as our base for exploring two of Northwestern Ontario's most famous natural attractions. Witness the power of Kakabeka Falls, known as the "Niagara of the North," and experience the unforgettable scenery of Sleeping Giant Provincial Park, renowned for its dramatic cliffs, forested trails, and breathtaking views over Lake Superior. We'll also visit the inspiring Terry Fox Monument, where panoramic vistas combine with one of Canada's most powerful stories of determination and courage.

The adventure continues to Pukaskwa National Park, Ontario's largest wilderness national park and one of the province's true hidden gems. Discover rugged shorelines, ancient rock formations, and the untamed beauty that makes this stretch of Lake Superior so legendary. Along the way, enjoy a stop at the stunning Old Woman Bay and savour a visit to the famous Voyageur Lodge & Cookhouse, known for its welcoming atmosphere and legendary apple fritters.

As we journey eastward, explore the waterfalls and scenic trails of Chutes Provincial Park and the sparkling lakes, rocky ridges, and pine forests of Grundy Lake Provincial Park. The tour also includes a visit to Dynamic Earth in Sudbury, where you'll discover the fascinating geology that helped shape Northern Ontario.
