Enjoy picturesque scenery as you meander across country roads where time seems to stand still. See the pristine Amish farms, one-room schoolhouses, windwheels, Amish "phone booths" and farmers working the fields with their horse or mule-drawn plows.
Then it's a lunch stop at Kitchen Kettle Village. Lunch is on your own. Stroll through the village with 42 shops and restaurants, sample pepper jam, watch fudge being rolled and listen as Banjo Jimmy plays a tune. And did we mention the shopping? It's like a treasure hunt with everything from handcarved signs, to handmade quilts, to Brighton leather goods, to UGG boots and so much more.

Day 3 - Wed Apr 8
After breakfast, today we meet our local tour guide and head out to Lititz Town, Lancaster County’s Sweet Spot. Founded in 1756 by Count Nicholas von Zinzendorf, the town was named after a Bavarian castle known as Litice. The majority of the homes and buildings that stand in the town date back to this era and have been stunningly historically restored, making downtown Lititz a must see. These buildings now house many of Lititz’s unique boutiques, shops and taverns giving way to shopping and dining experiences that prove impossible to forget.
Our tour today will also include a tour of the Lilitz Moravian Church followed by a visit to Wilbur Chocolates. Walk in, take a deep breath, and smell the chocolate aroma throughout the store. Enjoy watching the candy makers create their delicious fudge featuring a variety of flavors!
Lunch in on your own this afternoon in Lilitz. An oasis from our box store and chain restaurant society with a myriad of eclectic and creative, independently owned shops, intimate cafes and unique and memorable fine dining. You will be able to enjoy
unique coffee and pastry shops, deli's and two old-time soda fountain shops and more.
You arrive back at the hotel mid afternoon for a nice break to get rested and refreshed. The hotels pools, restaurants and bars are available for your pleasure.
This evening you board the bus and it's time to visit the Victorian Mount Hope Mansion, a most unique setting for a theatrical murder-mystery interactive dining experience. Meet and mingle with intriguing guests and be sure to take note as they visit your table side while you dine. After enjoying a four-course meal and tastes of the mystery that is thick in the air, everyone
will assemble in the Mansion's Theater Room for a time of interrogation, hilarity and the answer to the question on everyone's mind -- Whodunnit??
