  • Your tour price includes transportation, accommodation, sightseeing, admissions to attractions, guided tours and meals as noted on the tour page on our website. 
  • Smoking on the motorcoach is not allowed. 
  • All tours have a tour director available to you during the tour. 
  • All prices are shown in Canadian dollars.  
Insurance
  • We strongly recommend that you purchase travel cancellation insurance for all travel and emergency medical insurance when travelling outside Ontario. Insurance is available online from CAA, RBC Insurance, TD Insurance or Manulife.
Cancellations, Transfers & Refunds
  • Unless otherwise indicated on the tour page on our website, all reservations may be cancelled at least 45 days in advance, without penalty. No refund is available if the cancellation is made within 45 days of departure. 
  • All reservations for bus tours are fully transferable and you may transfer your seat to anyone else, at any time, without penalty or any administrative fee. Simply send us an email through the Contact Us button at the top of the page. 
  • In the event that a tour is cancelled, the liability of ShortTrips.ca will be limited to providing a rescheduled date for that identical or equivalent tour. 
  • No refunds or adjustments will be made for portions of the trip that you have not taken or used. If you have a problem with the services provided while on tour, inform your tour director or hotel immediately. They will do their best to correct the problem. Please do not wait until you return home to do something about it.
  • Refunds are always given in the same method as the original payment. 
Luggage
  • One large suitcase per person is allowed for all motorcoach tours. 
  • Although every effort is made to handle all luggage as carefully as possible, ShortTrips.ca cannot assume liability for loss, theft or damage due to breakage, water, etc.
Price Increases
  • Our prices are based on fixed costs at the time the tour is planned. These costs are dependent on fuel costs, exchange rates and other factors. Should these costs increase, ShortTrips.ca reserves the right to increase the price. 
  • Should the price increase be greater than 5% the customer has the right to cancel the contract for travel services and obtain a full refund of amounts paid, unless the price increase is the result of government taxation. Every effort will be made to advise the consumer and/or your travel agent of any increase at least 15 days prior to your departure date.
Itinerary Changes
  • We reserve the right to make time or itinerary changes, if necessary. All our motorcoaches are fully licensed and insured throughout Canada and the Unites States.
Liability
  • ShortTrips.ca acts only in the capacity of an agent in arranging transportation, accommodations, additional side tours and attractions, including meals, and are not responsible for any loss, damage or injury due to an act or default of any company engaged in providing service included in our tours. If our office is advised of a significant change which may affect your enjoyment, every effort will be made to inform you in advance.
  • In the event that a tour or part of a tour cannot be delivered as described due to inclement weather, other "acts of God" or circumstances beyond our control, we will attempt to provide restitution for those parts of the tour that were not delivered to the best of our ability but ShortTrips.ca does not accept liability for circumstances outside our control and does not guarantee refunds.
Miscellaneous
  • ShortTrips.ca reserves the right to reject any person as a member of the tour at any time, if the tour director decides their conduct is detrimental to the interest, comfort, well-being and enjoyment of other members of the tour. A refund of the unfinished portion of the tour will be made and deemed a full and final settlement.
  • When meals are included in the tour price, gratuities are also included.  
  • ShortTrips.ca reserves the right to use photography for promotional purposes.

Payment in any form to ShortTrips.ca will represent an acceptance of all the above conditions.
