"Walk Through The Christmas Lights", Yuletide Celebration with Food Sampling & Private Group Dinner at a Fine Steakhouse Restaurant
The holiday season fills our hearts with joy, kindles the spirit of celebration, and weaves a tapestry of warmth and good cheer. What could be more heartwarming than sharing this season's joy with similarly inclined fellow passengers than by embarking on a one-day excursion to the Kitchener area! Our tour promises to awaken your senses and stir your emotions as we delve into the flavors, aromas, and traditions of Christmas stories and songs from days gone by.
Our tour starts with a visit to the Waterloo Region Museum. Find out how people travelled home for the holidays over 100 years ago and have a taste of their Christmas celebrations with a sampling of treats they would have had at that time. Experience the simpler Christmas of a 1914 Old Order Mennonite family and get the opportunity to tour a Mennonite house on site at the museum. We then depart to our next stop. As the sun sets and the stars begin to twinkle, you'll find yourself enveloped in the embrace of the camaraderie of your fellow passengers at a private group dinner at one of Kitchener's renowned fine steakhouse restaurants, proudly celebrating 40 years in the business. Savor the tastes that have stood the test of time. (The menu is at the bottom of this page). But the evening holds an even more magical surprise: a walk through the enchanting Bingeman's Gift of Lights Display. Usually this is a driving through experience but on 3 special nights each season the route is closed to vehicle traffic and visitors can walk the route through the Christmas Lights at their leisure. As the lights twinkle and dance, your heart will swell with the wonder of the season. This is an experience that will create cherished memories for all who are fortunate enough to partake. - Pan seared and lightly seasoned Atlantic salmon, served with potatoes and vegetables.
- Chicken Cordon Bleu. 8oz breaded chicken breast stuffed with ham and Swiss cheese, served with a white wine mushroom sauce. Accompanied by potatoes and vegetables.
- Narrow baby back ribs, charbroiled and served with BBQ sauce, potatoes and vegetables.
- Roast prime rib. Well aged Canadian AAA prime rib of beef, slow roasted and served with jus and horseradish. Accompanied by potatoes and vegetables.
- 8oz New York Striploin. Canadian AAA center cut New York steak, cooked to order. Accompanied by potatoes and vegetables.
