Trip Highlights
Dairy Capital Cheese Fest
Celebrating five cheesy years, you will have the opportunity to come face-to-face with local award-winning cheese makers & artisans and experience all that Canada's Dairy Capital has to offer.
Taste local cheeses, try baked goods, beer, wine, coffee, honey, chocolate and so much more. Whether it's a beer infused cheese or a complimentary pairing, it's great to see the vendors working together to create something new.

Hungarian Lunch
In the 1920's and 1930's, Hungarian immigrants were drawn to Southwestern Ontario during the great depression because of a lack of work in the urban centres like Toronto. Because many of the immigrants had been agricultural labourers in Hungary, they quickly acquired the skills needed and established themselves in the area.
We will be having an authentic Hungarian themed lunch at the Hungarian Hall in Delhi, Ontario. Our lunch will consist of breaded chicken, cabbage rolls, potatoes & gravy, Hungarian style lettuce salad, vegetables, bread & butter. Dessert will be an ice cream sundae with coffee or tea. |
J. Picard Kettle Potato Chips & Ramblin' Road Brewery
You may be familar with Picard's of the Picard's peanuts fame. Well, the same Picard's also own a kettle cooked potato chip plant and we will be getting a guided tour of the kettle chips plant and sampling some of their yummy flavours.
Since they are also a brewery, you will also have the option to buy beer and take it with you on the tour! Now how cool is that?! |
