Trip Highlights
St. Benoit-du-Lac Abbey
Located on the shores of Lake Memphremagog, the Abbey is a community of about thirty Benedictine monks who live according to the monastic rule written by Saint Benedict (480-547 AD).
Our guided tour will include exploring the daily monastic life, admiring the architecture of the abbey and finally, learning about the traditional methods of making cheeses. Followed of course by an opportunity for some cheese tasting and a chance to purchase some of these exquisite cheeses from their store. We will finish our visit by experiencing a Gregorian chanting session by the monks. Each person experiences it in their own way but we can assure you, those haunting notes will last a lifetime! |
Escapades Memphremagog Cruise
Discover one of the most beautiful lakes in Quebec, enjoy the beauty of the Eastern Townships and savour an exquisite brunch aboard this luxury yacht.
You will be very impressed by its unique interior design and comfort, charmed by its relaxed atmosphere and enthralled by the scenic vistas from its outdoor decks. You will not easily forget this 3-hour cruise or the gourmet cuisine! |

Your tour includes the gondola ride to the top from where you can admire the breathtaking views all around. You will also have time to do a short hike on one of the trails at the top of the mountain. |
Sherbrooke Murals
|
Sherbrooke is known for its large collection of wall-art and murals scattered throughout the downtown core.
Our tour includes a guided walking tour of downtown Sherbrooke with a local tour guide and you will have plenty of opportunities to take photos and selfies of these remarkable works of art. |
J. Armand Bombardier Museum of Ingenuity
Joseph-Armand Bombardier was a Canadian inventor and businessman and the founder of the company named after him, Bombardier. His most famous invention was the snowmobile but of course Bombardier has gone on to have a presence in many other areas of transportation including trains, streetcars and airplanes just to name 3.
We will be visiting the museum and also getting a "behind the scenes" tour of his workshops. This will also be our stop for our boxed lunch, included with the tour. |
