The Haliburton Sculpture Forest, as you can guess from its name, is in a forest. The paths are gravel and mud with some exposed tree roots and rocks etc. This tour is not recommended for those with mobility issues.

Lovers of sculptures, the arts, gentle hikes, turtles and the outdoors - we have a very interesting and educational tour for you to the Haliburton Highlands region, about 3 hours north-east of Toronto.
We start with a tour of the Haliburton School of Art & Design, located right in the middle of the Haliburton Forest. Then you will have a light boxed lunch followed by a fascinating guided tour of the Haliburton Sculpture Forest.
This unique outdoor collection is located in the Haliburton Highlands. It started in 2001 as a project of the Arts Committee of the region but over the years a remarkable outdoor gallery has been created with thirty-four sculptures and six one-of-a-kind benches nestled along trails. You will be getting a narrated walking tour through the forest with local expert tour guides as they explain the history of the forest and the sculptures.
After the sculpture walk, you will get to sit and enjoy a presentation by the Turtle Guardians. During this presentation, you will learn all about Ontario's turtles, why these fascinating creatures are important and what threatens them - with the help of LIVE teaching turtles!
There will be a restroom and dinner break on the way home from the Haliburtons.
