Escape into a winter wonderland with our enchanting day trip to Haliburton Forest, where snowy landscapes and captivating wildlife await. Strap on your snowshoes and embark on a picturesque snowshoeing adventure through the serene trails of Haliburton Forest. Beginners welcome, no previous experience required, experienced snowshoeing guides will be escorting our group and will asist with putting on and using snowshoes.
Snowshoe rental is included in this package tour although if you have your own snowshoes you are welcome to bring them with you.
After an exhilarating snowshoeing excursion, your journey continues to the renowned Wolf Centre, a 5,000 square foot indoor facility. The Wolf Centre offers an educational and immersive experience, featuring informative exhibits and, if you're lucky, the chance to witness these majestic creatures up close.

Note: The wolves are wild and have not had any human contact and thus the wolves can only viewed through one-way glass from inside the building. - Admission to the Wolf Centre, presentation by staff, tour of the Wolf Centre and chance to see the wild wolf pack. Note: Wolf sightings are not guaranteed! The wolves are wild and may not appear within the vicinity of the observatory at the time of our visit.
- Simple lunch at the Boshkung Smokehouse Restaurant at Haliburton Forest. An email will be sent closer to the tour date to all confirmed passengers to ask for your lunch preference. Vegetarian and vegan options will be available.
