Flight Arrangements
You will need to purchase your airline ticket. You are welcome to make your own flight arrangements or please call Marville Travel at (905) 891-0111 and one of the agents will be pleased to book your air travel.
- We recommend that your flight arrive in Dublin on the morning of Saturday June 26, 2020.
- On Saturday July 3, 2021 you will check out of the hotel and our airport transfer bus will deliver you to Dublin airport at 9:45 AM. We recommend that you book a flight that departs any time after 12 Noon.
Notes
- A valid passport with an expiry date at least 3 months past your planned return is required. Canadian and US passport holders do NOT require a visa. Citizens of other countries may require a visa. Please click here for more information.
- The official tour starts in Dublin on Saturday June 26, 2021 and ends on Saturday July 3, 2021.
- If you wish to extend your stay you are welcome to arrive before June 26 and/or leave after July 3. You will need to make your own hotel reservations and arrangements for airport transfers from Dublin airport to your hotel.
Deposits, Payments, Cancellations & Refunds
- $150 deposit required to reserve your seats. Deposit is non-refundable once paid.
- Final payment is due by May 6, 2021. Reminder emails will be sent a few days before due date. Final payments are non-refundable once paid.
- You can transfer your seat on the bus tour portion of the trip to anyone else you know up to the time of departure without penalty however please note the airline ticket is your responsibility and we are not able to provide any refunds for your air tickets if you should need to change the name of the passenger or cancel your travel plans. Trip cancellation insurance is highly recommended.

- Children 10 and older are welcome on this tour, same price as adults.
Single Supplement
- We do not charge single supplements or surcharges if you are willing to share your room with one other person. Are you travelling by yourself? We guarantee to find you a roommate of the same gender or we pay the surcharge!
- If you prefer to have a private room by yourself, that is not a problem, please select the Single Occupancy option and pay the single supplement.
Emergency Medical/Travel Insurance
- Emergency medical and trip cancellation insurance is strongly recommended. Getting ill in a foreign country can be very expensive.
- If you are not covered by a workplace or other policy, we strongly recommend that you purchase insurance for this trip.

Itinerary
Day 1 - Saturday - Dublin
Arrival at Dublin. Transfer to hotel, check-in (we have requested an early check-in) followed by meet and greet with group and the local tour guide. Free afternoon to relax and unwind. Chance to stroll around the elegant cobbled streets of Dublin. Lunch on your own. This evening join the group for your welcome dinner at a classic Irish pub with a great history.

Day 2 - Sunday - Dublin, Guinness Storehouse, Trinity College & Book Of Kells
After breakfast you head to the Guinness Storehouse; the brewery that according to some created one of the finest drinks ever invented. You will see how the famous Irish beer is made and why as the well known Irish verse says 'its good for you'. Afterwards you will enjoy an escorted walk across the streets of Dublin for some lunch.
In the afternoon you visit Trinity College to see the Book of Kells, one of the world's most famous medieval manuscripts. In the evening you will be driven to the outskirts of Dublin to enjoy your welcome dinner, a lovely evening of Irish food, music and dance in the infamous Merry Ploughboy Pub.

In the afternoon you visit Trinity College to see the Book of Kells, one of the world's most famous medieval manuscripts. In the evening you will be driven to the outskirts of Dublin to enjoy your welcome dinner, a lovely evening of Irish food, music and dance in the infamous Merry Ploughboy Pub.

Day 3 - Monday - Wicklow Mountains, Glendolough, The Rock of Cashel & Cork
In the morning you head to the infamous Teeling Whiskey Distillery, discover how Ireland's water of life is crafted. Then you depart Dublin and head south towards the Wicklow mountains. Stop in Glendalough, a beautiful glacial valley with a picturesque lake and ancient monastery dating back to the 6th Century.
Onwards you travel south, stop to visit a cheese farm with a chance to try some delicious samples. Visit the Rock of Cashel. The former ancient capital of Ireland centuries ago, this majestic ruin sits on a hilltop surrounding the fields of grazing cows and sheep. Continuing south you arrive in Cork. Ireland ́s second largest city, known as the home of the Irish rebels and quirky with its terraces hilltop houses. Free evening to enjoy the delights of Ireland's Rebel City.

Onwards you travel south, stop to visit a cheese farm with a chance to try some delicious samples. Visit the Rock of Cashel. Day 4 - Tuesday - Blarney Castle, Blarney Stone, West Cork, Kerry & Killarney
In the morning you have some time to explore the colorful streets of Kinsale. Later in the morning you head to Blarney Castle. Former residence of the McCarthy Chieftains, it's one of Ireland's most renowned Castles, for its stunning gardens and for having the infamous Blarney Stone. Legend has it that anyone who kisses the stone gains the gift of eloquence for life. You will have your chance to kiss this famous stone!
After some time to stroll through the Castle gardens you will enjoy shopping time at the renowned Blarney Woolen Mills. Then you set out west crossing the beautiful valleys of West Cork and Kerry, finishing your evening in Killarney, Ireland's most picturesque town and known for its friendly atmosphere.

After some time to stroll through the Castle gardens you will enjoy shopping time at the renowned Blarney Woolen Mills. Then you set out west crossing the beautiful valleys of West Cork and Kerry, finishing your evening in Killarney, Ireland's most picturesque town and known for its friendly atmosphere.

Day 5 - Wednesday - Ring Of Kerry & The Gardens of Muckross
Departing in the morning you will explore Ireland's most scenic drive route with 100 miles of beautiful valleys and spectacular shorelines and with plenty of marvelous photo stops along the way. Returning to Killarney, you will visit the elegant Muckross house and discover its beautiful park.
In the evening you will enjoy a traditional Irish dinner with entertainment in Major Colgans Pub.

Day 6 - Thursday - Fairytale County Clare, Cliffs Of Moher, The Burren & Galway
Departing Kerry you continue journeying across the Wild Atlantic Way. Visit a renowned organic cheese farm. Later, taking a ferry across the estuary of the River Shannon (Ireland's largest and longest river) to Clare, the fairytale county of Ireland, you will visit the Cliffs of Moher where you will experience the awe-inspiring power of nature of the Atlantic in its rawest form, hearing the sound of the waves, the wind and the birds hovering over their nests.
You will also visit The Burren National Park. The Burren, taking its name from the Irish 'bhoirean' meaning rocky place. A region of special beauty where the eye is caught by the sight of never ending limestone fields. Where certain plants grow out in-between its nooks and crannies and rivers and streams disappear into the soil to be discovered again miles away from this infinite rock. Visit the Burren Smokehouse to try some delicious smoked Salmon. You will finish the day in Galway, Ireland's happiest town, renowned for its traditional Irish music nights.

Day 7 - Friday - Wild west of Connemara, Clonmacnoise, The Boyne Valley & Dunboyne
Departing Galway you head west towards the region of Connemara. Renowned as the gem of the west for its wilderness and beauty, it is one of the last Gaelic speaking regions of Ireland. While driving through this scenic land you will experience the mesmerizing charms of its sparkling lakes, colorful peat bogs and the fabled Kylemore Abbey with its quaint rooms and
elegant church. Enjoy a chance to have lunch and explore the charming Victorian walled gardens.
After this visit we drive past the valleys of the mighty river Shannon. Stop at Clonmacnoise Monastery, dating back from the 5th century. Onwards we continue east to the Boyne valley, the cradle of Irish civilization. Visit sacred Hills of Tara, former seat of the High Kings of Celtic Ireland. You will finish your day at Dunboyne Castle Hotel with a farewell group dinner.

Day 8 - Saturday - Dublin Airport
Today we have one final hearty Irish breakfast and then check out of our hotel. The bus will transfer you to the airport and drop you at the airport at 9:45 AM. As mentioned before, we recommend that you book your flights to depart Dublin after 12 Noon.
On this day we say farewell to new friends we’ve made, but not to the memories that will remain with us for a lifetime! Breakfast included. |
