The S.S. Keewatin is the oldest surviving Edwardian-era (Titanic era) passenger steamship in the world. These ships were once a common site on the Great Lakes, with hundreds of vessels like it carrying passengers and cargo. When others were retired and scrapped during the 1960s, the Keewatin was saved.

Departing from Toronto on this one-day bus tour to Kingston, Ontario, you will start with some free time at the beautiful waterfront area of Kingston. Then you will be transported to the Great Lakes Museum and a bygone era as you explore the SS Keewatin. This remarkable vessel, built in 1907, is a testament to the elegance and grandeur of early 20th-century travel. Wander through the ship's luxurious staterooms, admire the intricate woodwork, and learn about the ship's storied history from knowledgeable guides. Thanks to the extensive preservation work, a visit aboard the Keewatin is like stepping back in time, with its original fixtures, artifacts and working technology.

The ship appeared on CBC’s Murdoch Mysteries, episode 701, and was featured on a 2020 Royal Canadian Mint coin.
