Kingston Spooky Haunted Ghosts Tour
Private Dinner at Fort Henry Included!

For the latest COVID-19 update and our new procedures for bus tours please click here.
This is our first multi-day tour since we were locked down in March! Isn't it time to get away for a couple of days just so you can be scared out of your wits? Well, of course it is. Please join us on this spooky ghosty scaredy ghoulish 2-day getaway! Boo!

Kingston is a dream city for visiting haunted places that have ghosts, spirits and supernatural aura. There are tons of historic homes, plenty of dark alleyways and narrow streets for the ghosts and spirits to gather in. The whole place practically whispers, “I see ghosts.”
Picture
Our two day tour includes a stop in Cobourg to visit haunted places with a local tour guide, followed by a dinner at the supposedly haunted Fort Henry in Kingston (they are opening up the restaurant area for a private dinner just for our group!) and following the dinner, once it's nice and dark, a bus/walking tour of haunted Kingston where you will be visiting Rockwood Asylum and a cemetery. The following day we visit the infamous Kingston Penitentiary, the home of Canada's most well-known criminals when it was a prison and which is known to be haunted.

Like all of our tours while we are operating with capacity restrictions due to COVID-19, this tour requires a minimum of 20 passengers in order to proceed. There is a maximum of 24 passengers per tour.

Tour Highlights

Kingston Haunted Bus/Walking Tour

Picture
Hear stories from Kingston’s mysterious and paranormal past, some dating back 200 years. The tour takes you off the beaten path to Kingston’s lesser-known and difficult-to-access haunted spots including the back of Fort Henry Hill and Deadman’s Bay, the Cataraqui Cemetery, the grave of Sir John A Macdonald, and the Rockwood Asylum.

Kingston Penitentiary

Picture
Kingston Penitentiary, built in 1833 and known locally as KP and Kingston Pen, was one of the oldest prisons in continuous use in the world at the time of its closure on Sept 30, 2013.

During its operating years it was home to many of Canada's most dangerous and notorious criminals including James Donnelly, Russell Williams, Paul Bernardo, Clifford Olson, Roger Caron and Grace Marks to name a few.

Ghosts have been spotted here and one you may see is George Hewell, who, in life, was a violent inmate known for attacking guards and other inmates. In 1897, a guard struck back in self-defence, and, as Hewell lay dying, he swore he’d have his revenge. Since then, Hewell has been seen many times.

Cobourg

Picture
Surprisingly Cobourg has many haunted venues. Our tour guide, dressed in an appropriate costume, will tell you all about Dr. King who was convicted of murdering his wife and see the location where he was publicly executed in 1859.

Learn about the ghosts that haunt a local B&B and learn of the Green Lady (Lena Field Fisher) whose presence is still felt at Victoria Hall.
