This day trip includes a leisurely 1 hour cruise aboard the River Rider up the Lynn Valley River. During the cruise the Captain will provide you with music and colourful commentary peppered with interesting and comical historical lore. You will hear tales of the War of 1812, and the burning of Dover Mills, origins of the villages in the area as well as stories of prohibition and the Rum Runners of Lake Erie. Along the way you will see prestigious homes, exquisite yachts and Ontario’s wildlife in it’s natural habitat.

Also included is a visit to Bonnieheath Lavender Farm & Winery. Enjoy a glass of wine or cider as you explore the expansive grounds, vineyards and lavender fields. Their Farm Wagon Tour is a delight for everyone. A glass of wine or cider and the farm wagon tour is included as part of this tour.

Lunch at the Erie Beach Hotel in Port Dover is also included. On the menu is their world famous Lake Erie Perch lunch served with their amazing salad cart including the equally famous celery bread. Dessert, Tea & Coffee included.

We finish our tour with a shopping opportunity at Sam's Place Farm Market. They offer a large selection of local and imported fruits and vegetables, local cheeses, dairy products and preserves and fresh breads. They also have a home & garden section with a variety of beautiful plants, flowers and other gardening related products.
