Start with some free time to enjoy the winery tents set up along Queen St. in Niagara-On-The-Lake at the annual Icewine Festival. Of course there are also lots of stores, boutiques, cafes and restaurants to explore in this pretty little town.

Following our festival visit, we travel to Niagara Falls for a guided bus tour of Niagara Falls with a local tour guide. See Niagara Falls that most tourists never see.

The tour ends at the Skylon Tower where we have an elegant dinner in the revolving restaurant. Admire the fabulous view of the lit up falls as well as the city. After dinner, our visit also includes admission some time to visit both the inside and outside observation decks.

And we finish our day trip with a drive past the Niagara Winter Festival of Lights. After Jan 9th the Christmas themed displays are removed and other displays are added.

Niagara-On-The-Lake Icewine Festival

Niagara-On-The-Lake is transformed into a wintery wonderland, celebrating one of Canada’s most cherished products, Ontario Icewine. Oh, and it's not just icewine... you can sample lots of other wines and foods too.

Wineries from Niagara Region will be there to entice you with their icewines (and other wines too) and signature chefs will tempt you with icewine inspired culinary creations. Listen to music and when you get cold, pop into any of the many restaurants and cafes to warm up a hot chocolate or perhaps something even stronger.

Check out the year round Christmas store and the gelato store. Gelato in January? Why not?! :-)

Dinner at the Skylon Revolving Restaurant

We will be dining in the revolving restaurant at the Skylon Tower. Enjoy excellent cuisine 775 feet above the Falls. Relax and enjoy as the restaurant revolves silently and does a complete rotation once every hour. You will discover the magic of the Falls illumination, dazzling city lights and the Winter Festival of Lights displays.

After dinner you will have some free time to visit the indoor and outdoor observation decks. You’ll marvel at the amazing view of Niagara Falls illuminated along with the city lights far below. The experience is rated as one of the top things to do when visiting Niagara Falls.
