3-Day Quebec City Ice Hotel & Winter TourIt's time for our annual Quebec City Ice Hotel & Winter Tour. Quebec City in winter has beauty like no other city. The history, the charm, the old town, sparkling with a gentle covering of snow, it glitters both during the day and at night.
Please note: We will only be touring the Ice Hotel, NOT staying in it! Our hotel is a fabulous property right in the middle of the Old Town Quebec City!
Our tour also includes visiting the Montmorency Falls, getting a guided tour of Quebec City with a local tour guide, going to a sugar shack for a tour and a traditional Quebecois Maple syrup farm lunch and of course visiting the world famous Ice Hotel. One of the other highlights of this tour is a unique guided tour of the inside of the famous Le Château Frontenac. More than a hotel it is a Québec City icon. For over a century, it has perched atop Cape Diamond overlooking Dufferin Terrace and the St. Lawrence River. That's the Le Château Frontenac in the photo above. More details below. 4-Day Tour Option
We also have our classic 4-Day Quebec City Ice Hotel & Winter Tour on our tour schedule from Feb 1-4, 2025. For more information about that tour, please click here. |

Montmorency Falls
Just spectacular! There's no other word to describe the Montmorency Falls in winter. The falls are frozen over and one can only look up in awe at the wonders of nature. The upper section has a very nice walking trail where you can view the falls from a different viewpoint and you can also stand directly above the falls on the bridge, see photo above!
Quebec Old Town
Québec Old Town, a UNESCO World Heritage Site, is a vibrant treasure steeped in over 400 years of history and colonial charm. At its heart lies Petit Champlain, one of North America’s oldest shopping streets, where quaint boutiques and artisan shops invite you to explore. This lively neighborhood blends historic beauty with a modern shopping experience, making it a must-visit for locals and tourists alike. Nearby, the Old Port offers unique stores and a scenic marina, while iconic landmarks like the fortified walls, Plains of Abraham, and Parliament Hill add to the rich atmosphere of this captivating district.
Fairmont Le Château Frontenac
This guided tour of the Chateau Frontenac visits parts of the hotel not normally available to the public. You will discover the famous people and historical events that have shaped the identity of this prestigious hotel over the years, as well as its architectural development and facelift undergone in recent years. The tour tries to include the following parts of the hotel subject to availability: Le Champlain Restaurant, Meetings & Conventions Floor, Salon Rose Room & The Grand Ball Room, Verchères Room and a view of the Chef's Gardens.
Sugar Shack Experience
After leaving Quebec City on our way back to Toronto, we will stop at a sugar shack for a traditional maple sugaring season sugar shack lunch. The lunch is included in the tour price.
A traditional sugar shack lunch usually consists of the following. There will be an option for vegetarians. Sorry but our package meal does not have any options for those with any other dietary requirements.
