Trip Highlights

Upper Canada Village "Pumpkinferno" Festival

Touring Upper Canada Village is a magical experience, transporting you back in time to the 1860s. A key part of the experience is the authentic buildings that make up the village, the activities that each housed, and of course, the people who lived there.

Founded in 1961, Upper Canada Village is one of the largest living-history sites in Canada. Here, Featured are over forty historical buildings, many moved here prior to flooding of the “Lost Villages” during the St. Lawrence Seaway development project. These include homes, functioning mills and trades workshops.

During this award winning event, you will discover over 7,000 carved and glowing pumpkins including a selection of all-new pumpkin-carved displays among other fan-favourites. Check out Steampumk Station, dogs and monsters, field of phantoms and witches brew, the timber trail, the great white north, the pumpkin planetarium and so much more. This mesmerizing installation of artist-inspired, glowing pumpkins is a not-to-be-missed event for ALL ages!

Pumpkin Farm

On our way back from Cornwall, we stop at a pumpkin farm where you will be welcomed with a glass of hot apple cider and a cookie.

You will also have a chance to pick your own apples and pick your own pumpkins if you wish.

And for those who wish to have some fun, the farm is famous for it's very extensive 6-acre corn maze. Admission to the maze is included as part of our visit. We recommend that you do it with friends, it so much more fun that way.
