4-Day Quebec City Ice Hotel & Winter TourQuebec City is a winter wonderland. The old European-style buildings are covered with a furry white blanket that sparkles in the sunlight and glistens at night, making this beautiful city even more enchanting. The highlights of this trip are of course a visit to the ice hotel and our farewell dinner at an internationally recognized restaurant located in the oldest house in Canada, built in 1675!
Please note: We will only be touring the Ice Hotel, NOT staying in it! Our hotel is a fabulous property right in the middle of the Old Town Quebec City!
Our tour also includes visiting the Montmorency Falls, getting a guided tour of Quebec City with a local tour guide, going to a sugar shack for a tour and a traditional Quebecois Maple syrup farm lunch and of course visiting the world famous Ice Hotel. One of the other highlights of this tour is a unique guided tour of the inside of the famous Le Château Frontenac. More than a hotel it is a Québec City icon. For over a century, it has perched atop Cape Diamond overlooking Dufferin Terrace and the St. Lawrence River. That's the Le Château Frontenac in the photo above. Included in this extended 4-day winter tour are a guided tour of the Morrin Centre, a national heritate site and home to one of the oldest prisons in Canada. We also visit and get a guided tour of the Musée national des beaux-arts du Québec, the national art museum of Quebec with narration about the development of French art in Canada. Also included is a ferry ride to and from Levi, the town across the St. Lawrence River from Quebec City. The ferry ride in winter is a unique experience since the ferry is also an ice-breaker so it can sail even when the St. Lawrence River freezes in winter. And on our last night in Quebec we enjoy a farewell group dinner at Aux Anciens Canadiens, a restaurant internationally known for it's authentic Quebecois cuisine. 3-Day Tour Option
We also have our classic 3-Day Quebec City Ice Hotel & Winter Tour on our tour schedule from Feb 18-20, 2023. For more information about that tour, please click here. |

Just spectacular! There's no other word to describe the Montomorency Falls in winter. The falls are frozen over and one can only look up in awe at the wonders of nature. The upper section has a very nice walking trail where you can view the falls from a different viewpoint and you can also stand directly above the falls on the bridge, see photo above!
